We bought some frozen food – Kerala Chicken, Beef Madras, Sag Aloo – and it was … just beautiful. The flavours, the spices. This is what ready meals taste like IN HEAVEN.

Just wanted to thank you for the delicious food, everyone said great flavours and quality! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had 6 clean plates. I had the coriander chicken and it was 👌🏻
Thank you as well for making the process of ordering so easy and for the delivery.

I first tried this a few years ago and can’t believe I haven’t been back in so long. The food is fresh, reasonably priced and the range is extensive for meat and non-meat eaters.
I would highly recommend grabbing a take away and putting it in the freezer so that you’re never without a good take away at a moments notice.

Really Really Good!
I’m from an Anglo Indian background and I have to say the curries (and rice) are truly excellent. Much better than any restaurant and this really is good home cooking stuff and very similar to my mums. Well done Chai stop for making truly authentic recipes.

We have used The Chai Shop for catering at several of our family celebrations. They never fail to delight. They have such a range of flavours that they appeal to people who claim to know about curry and even people who claim that they don’t really like curry. The Chai Shop itself is well worth a visit – friendly and welcoming.

Friends visiting for the weekend is always a joy but when one is gluten and lactose intolerant, one is a vegan and two are on low carb diets things could get difficult. Chai stop to the rescue ! Plenty of vegan friendly choices, everything is gluten free and the range of meat and vegetable dishes is impressive. And did I mention the puddings? Even if you aren’t local, visit the website and order online…..just £10 postage! These Indian meals are so good you’ll forget about the local takeaway!

Hello there!
Just wanted to give you some feedback on the curries we purchased from the village shop (opposite campsite!)en route home back to Switzerland.
They were absolutely FABULOUS!
(& I really know what I’m talking about as I spent 3mth in India teaching so I’ve eaten a lot of authentic food!)
Also the fact that it was available frozen from that magical little Aladin’s cave of a village shop was brilliant.
Cool! Shame we live sooooooooo far away & you don’t deliver this far!

Just had the kashmiri lamb and loved it. Haven’t been able to find a good curry in the area since moving here 3yr ago and having one that has meat this tender and sauce bursting with such flavour I can’t wait to buy another one from their range.
