Easter Tasters and Opening Hours

Its almost the start of the long Easter weekend and its looking like its going to be a beautifully sunny break here in East Kent.

Our kitchen will be closed tomorrow (Good Friday), plus Sunday and Monday as usual.

Don’t panic if you haven’t had a chance to collect your curries ready for the long weekend, we will be open as usual on Saturday for our free tasters plus we have stockists though out Kent, for full list https://www.thechaistop.co.uk/where-to-buy/

Free Tasters available this Saturday 11am – 3pm at our kitchen in Ebbsfleet-

Kashmiri Lamb – Medium – Bursting with flavour, cooked with tomatoes and cream, Kashmiri Chillies and our own blend of Garam Masala.

Kerala Chicken – Hot – A South Indian curry with a kick! With coconut milk, plenty of red chillies, curry leaves, tamarind and tomatoes.

Chicken Dopiaza – Medium – A typical Indian-home style curry. A tomato based curry with black cardamom, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, fresh mint and coriander. A really well rounded curry with depth and freshness at the same time.

Saag Aloo – Medium – The perfect combination of spinach and potatoes cooked with spices, garlic and tomatoes.

South Indian Potato – Medium/hot – A southern version of Bombay Potatoes cooked with mustard seeds, fresh chillies, curry leaves and turmeric to give this dish its truly authentic flavour.

Butternut Squash & Green Bean – Mild – A tasty South Indian curry with real depth of flavour, cooked with curry leaves, spices, coconut milk and a dash of lemon juice.

Chard & Sweet Potato – Mild – Rich and full of flavour, cooked in a wonderful homemade Chai Stop curry paste.

Chicken Dansak – Medium – Marinated in a unique and complex blend of spices, cooked with pureed lentils, finished off with Tamarind and coriander to give it the ‘earthiness’ and ‘tang’ classic of a Dansak.
